KPM Announces Staff Promotions
Kirkpatrick, Phillips & Miller is pleased to announce the following staff promotions.

Jennifer L. Agnew, CPA to Manager. Jennifer specializes in auditing manufacturers, wholesalers, retail businesses and employee benefit plans. Jennifer joined KPM in 1997. She has her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Missouri State University. Jennifer currently serves on the Board of Directors for Court Appointed Special Advocates and as a Chamber of Commerce Ambassador.

Richard D. Dugas to Manager. Richard performs information technology, consumer compliance, and Bank Secrecy Act audits along with loan reviews and other consulting for Financial Institutions. Before joining KPM in 2005, Richard had 18 years experience with the FDIC. Richard received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Oklahoma State University. Richard currently serves as Board Chairman for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Missouri Southern Region.

Rebecca D. Harmon, CPA to Manager. Becky specializes in taxation and auto dealerships. Becky joined KPM in 1999. Becky currently serves on the firm’s tax committee. Becky earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Management from William Woods University. Becky serves as Treasurer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks.

Brooke A. Liggett earns CVA Designation
Brooke Liggett has successfully completed completed the certification process with the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA®) to earn the designation of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA).
Requirements to earn the Certified Valuation Analyst designation include being a licensed certified public accountant, completing NACVA’s five-day training program, and successfully completing the Association's comprehensive examination.
Business Valuations are most commonly required in conjunction with the purchase or sale of a business, succession planning, buy/sell agreements, charitable contributions, estate and gift taxes, and initial public offerings. In the litigation arena, valuations are often necessary in situations of business disruption, dissenting shareholder actions, divorce and partner disputes. December 2009
